As a global supplier of technology systems, we recognise that our operations impact the environment.
We’re not able to run a carbon-free business, but we can acknowledge, address and take steps to, as much as realistically possible, mitigate our carbon footprint,
We’ve ensured that the fundamentals are covered (to see our environmental policy, click here), but want to do more.
This must extend beyond lip service and basic environmental requisites such as recycling and green procurement - we feel such initiatives should be fundamentals, not drivers of an organization’s sustainability plan.
On 1st May 2024, ROOMNET commenced a partnership with climate impact partner, Carma, agreeing to plant one tree for every Apple TV sold. In doing so, we strive to offset a portion of each transaction’s carbon emission.
This portion will exponentially increase as our estate of trees matures. And the best bit? Our trees will still be standing tall, absorbing C02, many years after our technology is replaced.
Our efforts will not just aid absorption of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, we’ll also contribute to the restoration and preservation of natural ecosystems, driving biodiversity, enhancing air quality, and supporting local communities.
To learn a more about the species of trees planted by ROOMNET, and how our efforts support the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, click here.
We’re proud of our partnership with Carma, but recognise that a broader collective effort is necessary if we’re to protect our future.
So why not join us? We actively seek collaboration with like-minded organizations, to enhance the impact of our tree-planting initiative.
Together, we can make a difference...
