WHAT is ROOMNET TV?
ROOMNET embeds additional features, functionality, and security on an Apple TV, turning it into a fully-managed, enterprise platform.
Designed specifically for use in a hospitality (or healthcare) environment, ROOMNET TV looks, feels, and performs in exactly the same way as a standard Apple TV. The difference lies in additional software integrated within the device, and a suite of ROOMNET built management tools, known as ‘Glyde.'

The Hotel App
ROOMNET’s proprietary hotel app delivers a digital compendium of services, amenities, and hotel information — essentially replacing the paper-based hotel directory.
Using images, text, logo and video files, hotels can create a series of fully customisable, branded pages to detail a property's F&B services, amenities, and key details.
Storing all hotel information within an app rather than the platform's interface creates faster navigation and a cleaner aesthetic. In turn, this offers quicker, more intuitive access to streaming apps and TV services.
The Reset App
ROOMNET TV integrates with a hotel’s property management system (PMS) to automatically reset the Apple TV when a guest checks out. This restores the Apple TV to a predetermined state, deleting all sensitive data and credentials, and ensuring all guests receive a uniform TV experience upon check-in.
For additional peace of mind, the guest is able to use ROOMNET’s Reset app to manually reset the device at any given point throughout their stay.

HOW do ROOMNET turn an Apple TV into a guest room entertainment platform?
ROOMNET is a fully accredited Apple Enterprise partner - a business entity authorized by Apple to develop and maintain vertical market solutions using Apple products and services.
Under the jurisdiction of this partnership and Apple’s MDM framework, ROOMNET has built Glyde, a proprietary management ecosystem consisting of a mobile device management platform, a management portal, and a series of apps (as detailed above).
Accessible via an online dashboard, Glyde functionalities include:
- The registration, onboarding, and management of all devices deployed within a network
- Device reset, restart, and latest PMS link events
- Real time status reports
- A live TV application with usage statistics and the dynamic setting of TV channels, including icon, genre, and IP address of each channel.
WHY is ROOMNET TV such a good option for the hotel room?
Hotel’s strive to provide a home-away-from-home experience through every facet of the guest experience, but struggle to authentically achieve this via the guest room TV.
Guests want to enjoy the same intuitive, immersive experience they receive at home, typically preferring to watch on-demand content, accessible quickly and easily via native apps on the TV platform.
